The deputy governor of Kano State, Dr Yusuf Gawuna has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his support to the farmers in Nigeria.
Gawuna made the commendation in Abuja on Thursday during the commissioning of All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Headquarters and the distribution of imputs to it members across the 36 states of the federation and FCT.The Deputy governor who also double as the commissioner of Agriculture, Kano state assured Nigeria farmers of Kano state government support at all time.
He therefore, called on all farmers in Nigeria to key into the current policies of President Buhari led government which he said is friendly to farmers.
Earlier, the national president of AFAN, Alh. Farouk Rabiu Mudi thanked president Muhammadu Buhari for beleiving in Nigerian farmers.Alh. Farouk also appreciated the Minister of Agriculture. And the Kano state government for it support to the association.Some of the items distributed include; 3HP water pump, Bee Hives, Multi-purpose Thresher, Ginger Sliser, Corn Harvester among others.
