CSO Debuts With Youth Voter Education

Following the new reawakening and political consciousness of the electorate in Nigeria, a prominent Civil Society group “Youth And Media Network Organisation (YOMEN)” has commenced a Comprehensive All-Party, Voter Education and Mobolization project tagged, ” READY TO VOTE !” 
In a pre-event Press Release to journalists įn Abuja, the Chairman Board of Trustees of YOMEN,  Elder Ambassador Emenike Nwachuku-Eme, disclosed that the ‘READY TO VOTE’ programme is a collaborative partnership between Youth and Media Network Organization and inter-Party Advisory Council,  (IPAC)  a first-of-its-kind project  aimed at fostering unity among youths of the various political Parties in Nigeria and to deepen democracy.”
He further stated that the National Youth Leaders of the 18 registered Political Parties and Heads of various Support groups are expected at the Public Presentation/Official Launch of the ‘Ready To Vote’ project,  scheduled for  Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Green Minds Hotel, Utako, Abuja,  under the Co-Chairmanship of Hon. Aisha Dukku, Chairperson House of Representatives Committee on INEC and Engr. Yabagi Y. Sani, National Chairman, IPAC.
Core Reporters report that accreditation of all Heads of Civil Society Organisations and Support Groups of the various Parties wishing to participate in the programme will open from 9am on Monday, 20 to 9am on Tuesday  21 November, 2022, at the Green Minds Hotel, Utako Venue.
