Footage has surfaced of the Trump family in a celebratory mood as they watched their supporters on a screen shortly before they stormed the Capitol and unleashed violence.
The footage, taken by Donald Trump Jr, shows his father, sister Ivanka, brother Eric, girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, chief-of-staff Mark Meadows and several others watching in a tent as their Save America March got under way on the streets.
According to Yahoo News, the video appears to be taken right before Trump spoke at a rally for his supporters, calling on them to march on the Capitol building.
Just before the violence began, Donald Trump Jr said: “I think we’re T minus a couple of seconds here guys, so check it out, tune it, livestream it.”
Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend and former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle was also there and she’s seen dancing before saying: “Guys, how does it feel to do the right thing? Fight.”
President Donald Trump also appears to be wearing boxing gloves as he prepares to give his speech just before the chaos unfolded in the Capitol.
He then appears at the end of the video, swinging what appears to be a red boxing glove.
