The President of the Football Coaches Association in Nigeria, Ladan Bosso has said that the new corporate identity of football coaches in Nigeria will bring stability and success to the association.
Bosso, who is the head coach of the nation’s Under-20 was speaking on the background of association registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
“This is a new vista in the activities of coaches in Nigeria. It shows our Association is a credible one that should be taken seriously at any given point in time.
“The association needed a world class identity and we sought to give it one by registering it as an entity that coaches in this country will be proud of.”
“Our dream is to sanitize and continue to educate our members about this noble profession of ours,” Bosso opined.
However, former Super Eagles head coach Festus Adegboyega Onigbinde has also commended Bosso’s efforts and posited that coaches can now do their jobs on and off the pitch without fear or favour.
New National Star reported that the Nigeria Football Coaches Association has been officially granted the authority to operate as a registered entity by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Meanwhile, the business of football coaching in Nigeria will no longer be business as usual as the coaches union has now become recognized by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
