Kano Pillars on Sunday picked an away point in Jos to extend its unbeaten runs to nine games in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Pillars played a barren draw against eleventh position Plateau United in the week 24 encounter of the NPFL.
The draw extended Pillars unbeaten runs to nine.
It will be recalled that since the rejuvenated Abia Warriors pummeled the Kano based NPFL side 4-1 in a week 15 encounter, the Sai masu gida have not dropped a point either home or in an away tie.
However, Nasarawa United have continued to push for the battle of the trophy as they piped visiting Adamawa Utd 1-0 in Lafia over the weekend.
The Solid Milners are trophy contender for the ongoing season.
Meanwhile, Akwa Utd defeated Kwara Utd 2-1 and leapfrog Pillars to the top of the table though with the same points but with goals different.
Also, Katsina Utd defeated relegation threaten Warri Wolves1-0, MFM also defeated Akwa Starlet 1-0 in Lagos, while Lobi Stars beat visiting Sunshine Stars 2-1 in Makurdi.
In other games played across the country; Ifeanyi Uba settled for a 0-0 draw against Enugu Rangers while Heartland FC held Enyimba International to a goalless draw in an Oriental derby played in Aba.
