There is uncertainty over the submission of report by the 16-man Football Master Plan Committee, as they are indications that the committee is waiting to receive N100m from the federal government before releasing the report.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare had on November last year inaugurated a 16-man committee, headed by Ibrahim Galadima and the committee was given 12 weeks to submit it’s report. But six months after the Committee is yet to submit the report like previous committees.

Core Reporters report that, the committee has finished with it’s assignment, but waiting for the N100m the Sports Minister, Dare promised before releasing it.

It was further discovered that the sports minister is running from pillars to posts to raise the said amount to enable the committee submit it’s report. Meanwhile, if the money is paid to the committee any moment from now the committee is likely to release the report before the end of the month and anything contrary to that, the report will go the same way like previous committees.

It will be recalled that Justice Adokie Amiesimaka rejected the membership of the committee and stated that what the committee is charge to do has already been done by the previous committees. Insisting that previous committees’ reports should be made public instead of inaugurating more
