The Minister of Transportation Muazu Jaji Sambo has presented the sum of N92,2bn for the 2023 budget appropriation with the overhead of N382.1bn.
The Minister while presenting the budget before the joint committee of Senate and House of Reps on Marine and transpiration also presented the 2022 performance budget.
He said, the budget appropriation for the 2022 was N147.5bn, adding that N52.5bn was released and N38.7 was spent as at October 22, 2022.Out of the 358.7m overhead, he said N29.2m was released and N180.8m was spent as at October 22, 2022.Meanwhile, the joint Committee Chairman Senator Danjuma Goje while commending the chairman for the presentation said the Committee was going to invite all the agencies involve for their separate defence.
