Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has announced Tama Aondofa as the new chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Core Reporters report.
Aondofa’s appointment came barely nine days after the former chairman of the club; Mike Idoko was shown the exit door.
The former player of Mighty Jet FC, Aondofa is also a consultant to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Kano State Sports council.

Mr. Mike Idoko has been sacked as the vice chairman of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Core Reporters report.
Core Reporters report that the governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom sacked the embattled vice chairman of the club a few hours ago, and ordered him to hand over to the club’s secretary with immediate effect.
Aondofa at a glance: He spent 34 four years in the United State of America. He played for Mighty Jet FC of Jos and some other clubs in Nigeria and the US where he met Randy Waldrum the current Super Falcons coach. He was the link between the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and Randy Waldrum, the new coach of the Nigerian Super Falcons.
