The assistant coach of Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia, Samaila Marwa Keshi has finally broken his silence on why he chose to go back to school to complete his Higher National Diploma (HND) programme.
Speaking to Corereporters in a chance meeting recently in Abuja, Keshi revealed that he chose to go back to school for his HND programme at the Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia in order to pursue his plan ‘B’ for survival.
The ex-junior international further disclosed that he was plotting a graph for his plan “B” designed for the future.
The ex-Lobi Stars,Niger Tornadoes,Rangers International and Sharks central defender stated that he was tracing the footpath of some of his football heroes namely; Brazilian legend, Dr Socrates, Justice Adokie Amasiemeka, Dr Felix Owolabi and Segun Odegbami who combined soccer and the academic.
The former football agent turned coach posited that the pathetic state of some ex-internationals after retirement informed his pursuit for another career outside football.
Recall that Coach Keshi who boasts of an OND certificate recently enrolled for his HND programme.
